The Brno ExPats Forum website has a lot of features designed to make it an interesting and useful place to hang out. The following are just some of the features that you can (and should use) while on the site; 1. Discussion Forum The discussion forum is easy to use. You can either create a new thread or comment on an existing one. To create a new thread, simply select the relevant forum and then click on the New Topic button at the top of the Forum. To comment on a thread open it and then either reply to a posted comment or, scroll to the bottom of the comments and post a new comment in the space provided. You can use smileys too for greater effect if you chose to. You can also quote a previous comment. To do that simply go to the comment of interest and click the quote button. This will open a new comment with the quoted comment included. You can edit the quoted comment down if you wish so long as all the quoted text remains withing the two 'quote' markers. Then, simply post you own text below the quoted section of text and save

Additionally, by clicking on the appropriate icons you can send that person an email or a private message. 2.Private Messages At the bottom of the main menu is an item Messages. Click on this to see your own private messages and/or to send another user a private message. 3. Facebook style status Want to tell the community how you feel or what you are doing? It is simple. Click on your account on the main menu and edit your status there. No history is saved but this will display your current status across the site. 4. Post Your Event Having a party? Want to notify others of some event? Then simply click on Event Calendar on the main menu and then Add our event. It is that simple. 5. Brno Beat Got something to say about Brno?
