Fancy a change from traditional Czech bread ( excellent and varied though it is)?then pay a visit to the Pekarna Balkan at Cejl 105 (near the tram stop for Inter Spar).
As the name suggests the owners hail from Southern Europe and have brought their baking skills with them. They make a good stab at bread, rolls, pastries, pizza, burek and so on all made from doughs which are distinctly non- Czech.
There are a few tables and chairs as they also serve coffee and theoretically breakfast.
Not the most glamorous location in town but welcoming, tasty and inexpensive.
