Major Problem - Advice Needed
I need to pay bills in the USA but have, after my divorce, no US bank account and no US address. I find without a US address I cannot open a US bank account. I am in the strange position of not being able to pay bills in the US because the US system relies on paper checks issued on US banks and even an ATM or credit card issued by a Czech bank cannot be accepted by them.
So, my problem is how do I pay these bills?
Does anyone know if there is a bank that can open me a USD account and issue paper checks drawn upon that bank acceptable in the US? Any other ideas? Would paypal work for me?
Help! - all ideas welcome....
I will look into that. Thanks.
Wire transfer is not possible apparently as I have asked about this...
Came across this company offering its services on an expats website.
Like Ausczech HSBC came to my mind too.

I don't know about US, but in Australia HSBC offers online accounts which aren't based at any particular branch and you can do all your banking online. If all you need is an address, don't you have a mum or siblings who will receive your mail there - let you use their address?
Next option I can think of is to contact your creditors over there and ask if you can pay in USD from Czech bank account electronically. Sure it costs in terms of transfer fees and currency exchange, but when we choose to live OS it seems we have to accept these losses.
