Going to the movies can be one way to at least hear some English. Many movies are shown in English with Czech subtitles .. but not all..so check first. Palace Cinema's have two locations in Brno - one at Velky Spalicek in Brno Center and another at the Olympia Mall just outside of town. You can find details of current movies and prices at the Palace Cinemas website... which also has an English option just to make life easier...
